That is the most crucial question to answer - it determines your purpose and motivation. With a strong why you can keep your eye fixed on your target and go for it with wanton abandon.
I know you love your company and products. Why? Do you have a strong testimonial to share, what is your vision for yourself and others through what you do.
Why did you choose to be in business? Yes, I know, you want to earn money. That's great. There are lots of ways to earn money. Why have you chosen this particular route?
Hint: if you're just about the money - you haven't answered your why, and likely you won't succeed in business. Those with the greatest success in life, business, sports, or any other field were never just about the money. They had a MISSION. Create a mission statement that includes words that resonate with you.
Try some of these on for size: joyous, abundant, passionate, creative, leader, empowerment, support, strength, share, contribute, teach, coach, learn, impart, create, develop. Make your WHY move and inspire. How does it make you FEEL when you say it to yourself? Does it resonate? Does it fit and reflect you?
Are you 'Joyously creating abundance'? While 'empowering others to achieve their potential'. Use strong words that empower you and attract others to partner with you in your business.
When you become crystal clear about your Why, the other questions: what, how, with whom - will also come into focus.
I'd like to share with you what my why is - my mission statement is: To empower others to create optimum health and lifestyle through a holistic and individualized approach. Empower. Health. Environment. Holisitic and personalized approach.
The Why for my business partners is: 'I lead with purposeful passion to create abundance.' Leadership. Purpose. Passion. Abundance.
Make a Difference, Not Money
When you think about your why, go beyond the money. It's not about the money. When you talk to potential partners, you'll need to find out their why by asking the right questions. More coaching on this will be coming to this site.
There are many things you can do if you're just interested in money. Money is not compelling - it's the difference you will create in your life and in the lives of others through what you do with your time & money.
Once you have your WHY, you'll need an answer to the question, "What do you do?" that sparks interest in you without sounding 'salesman-y'. More on that later.
